The Colabora Birmania has built a center for adult training centre  facilities for a local organization that coordinates the provision of training and development for young Burmese people.



After their last school year, Burmese children do not have a many options to further their education. This is why we built the Satulé Formation Center, a 400m2 building where young Burmese students receive professional training to prepare them for work in Mae Sot (Thailand).



At the center, the students learn trades such as carpentry, electrical wiring, mechanics, welding and data processing, as well as studying science and math. They also learn English and Thai which are essential for their assimilation in Thailand as well as for being able to communicate with the foreign employees from the different humanitarian organizations working in this field. Thus the vocational training center provides them  with a much greater range of opportunities.
